Something Old, Something New!

Hello everyone. Can you believe we are mid way through the year already!  For the month of June we are asking you to dig through your stash and mix your oldies with your newbies to create something fabulous!
Let's see what our team members created for your inspiration!
exploding box - old dies : cupcake, cats, house and papers, new - Wild Orchid Crafts flowers and doily die
Something old is the clock, stencils and rub ons. Something new is the patterned paper and flowers.
I used a new collection (for me) from Amy Tangerine and threw in an older picture of my grandchildren from last summer.
(Revamped an old money envelope and used new flower dies for the flowers)
ATCS: Old stamps and sticker with some new paints.
ATC: Made a collage using old images from a fashion magazine and emphera that I had for a while. New items used; new spray paints, inks and oil pastels. My first ATC, so it's new to me too.
I used an old frame with new watercolor and flowers
I used old foam stamps and embossing powder with new paper and ephemeras!

Well I broke out my stash (which is ever growing!!) so this is all about new product and old product from my stash!

I have used the new Cocoa Vanilla Collection "Wild at Heart" and my flowers and the background stamp I have had for a long time!
new is Cocoavanilla collection Wild at heart
Old is Prima´s flowers, DCWV papers and stamps
No automatic alt text available.
I used an old Webster Pages collection and new unbranded dies.

Ok, now its your turn, lets see what you can create!

What inspires you to be the creator you are, what inspires your creativity, your goals dreams, what or who keeps you grounded. Think of a person, place, music, season, etc. Create something that inspires you. Along with who inspires you, use your favorite embellishments!  Check out what inspires our DT.

what inspire me? - colors ( especially pink, green and yellow ) and nature. I love to take photos. My favorite embellishments are chipboards, die cuts and embossing

(What inspires me are my two wonderful sons Riley and Harley, they are my world. My favorite embellishments I used are from the patterned papers themselves - fussy cutting them, I love doing this when ever I can)
(What inspires me are my three grandchildren, they are the loves of my life and the reason I am still cutting up and gluing down paper...lol.)
(What Inspires us - Life, colours, beauty around)
Music has always inspired me to create. My favorite embellishments are metal, stones, lace and inspiring quotes.

Art has always inspired me; art of all forms. When feeling happy, when feeling down, creating art is truly the answer for me.

(what inspires me are nature, colors and flowers )
I get inspiration from my family.
Taking pictures and making layouts of my loved ones is my passion and stress reliever:)
My layout is all about my passion for art. Art inspires me everyday!
My beautiful daughter always inspires me and I love creating memories for her to treasure in years to come!
My new inks Distress Oxide is my inspire just now. My favorite embellishments is thread, budges and text stickers.

Your challenge is to think Throwback. Something that suddenly reminds you of something in the past this could be in the form of throwback papers you have, embellishments, tools, throwback themed papers, colors, photos, memorabilia ANYTHING that will help you express any of your favorite past times. Whatever you choose have fun with it and think outside the box. Let's see what you got!  Here is some Design Team Inspiration for you and a little bit about what was used.  Make sure you participate in the challenge for this Month's prize!!!
(I decided to go back with my photo as well and use one from many years ago of my mum and dad. The papers were very old ones from my stash - G45 and Maja Designs. I decided to then go with old techniques that were being used on everything all the time when I first started scrapping - Fussy cutting, stickers and rubons.)
(I went way back and used one of my all time favorite collections from Crate Paper, which is the Maggie Holmes Collections.  I must have bought this collection three times!  For my favorite embellishments I used flowers and distressing, its a must for me!)
(We went back to a family holiday and used a picture from there; we used Gelatos and some dies that we've had in our stash since long)
Using old stickers I had for over 7 years (that didn't stick very well so had to glue on) and alcohol inks I hadn't used in over a year, on some old wood samples pieces.
Shabby Chic Wall Hanging made using vintage lace, fibers and flowers.
I used to use a lot of dies cut out with my Big Shot Die Cut Machine. I also found my border punch I used to use a lot!
I remember when I started scrapping back many years ago and it was all about doilies, big buttons and rosette flowers! This is my modern take on this throw back challenge.
( I have used really old Kaiser Papers "Pennyroyale" for the large Damask Patterns and matching brads as they were very popular a few years back)
When I start crafting 2007 I made a lot of cards. And my favorite materials was buttons and Basic Grey papers. And of course I used those on this work.
I used some throwback themed papers that includes old typewriters, cameras, travel themed items and old journal paper.  I also used a photo that took a while back after wearing these as a kid, they are back.  I also love things that are vitnage and old so I kinda used this in the layout. Vintage looking papers that are actually a couple of years old.
Thanks so much for stopping by.  This month's challenges are sponsored by Let's Get Sketchy!  Please make sure you link  up to the right!
